You are using an old Flash MX version of the scrollPane component. Drag the scrollPane component from your Flash MX 2004 or Flash 8 components library to the stage and name it "test". Then delete the old one.
Also use:
ActionScript:
test.contentPath = "content_wallpaper_test.swf";
|
Instead of:
ActionScript:
test.loadScrollContent("./content_wallpaper_test.swf");
|
I tried it and it should work this way .

For all those who come after me....another S T U P I D problem solved. Thanks to TheDutch.
Its almost like you said. so here is the solution, use the Flash MX 2004 component or higher, n o t the old Flash MX one. in the component parameter settings write the name of the external .swf in the contentpath line with the extension: test.swf <---content path line.
i wasted a whole day on this. but hooray it now works. peace out.

ok now i am really confused. i have a bigger project here that i have been working on for a long time now.
the stuff i did for making the scrollpane work with an external swf are working with every fla file i create b u t not in my older project, even if i create a container mc that works fine with the scrollpane and copy that to my stubborn project its not working....what is it this particular fla file could have that every other file does not?
in summary: i can load external swf in a scrollpane in general but not in the fucking project i work on its not functioning..(' ')
